Leeds Indie Fashion Photography

I wanted to do some photography to highlight and showcase talented local fashion designers. Each of the three dresses below are designed and made locally in Leeds (one of them quite literally as I watched). The shoes are No Sweat.

As for the shoot itself, I’ve wanted to do something with Henna for a long time. I love the results; there’s a really nice contrast with of the traditional and the modern. For this reason we consciously ignored the places henna is usually applied; i.e. the hands and feet, and instead went for places people often get tattooed (which I guess tend to be in places that could potentially be covered up).
